“Whatever you do for yourself dies with you and whatever you do for others in the world remains and is immortal.” Born & raised in the Silicon Valley of China, my 17-year-old self came to Canada alone with a big dream of changing the world and 2 huge luggage. As time goes by, I would like to think that I am making great progress on my journey, with my glass-half-full attitude bringing me lots of friends & knowledge. With experiences in PM, VC, PE, Consulting & Trading, I learned to adapt to new teams and I have an acknowledged record of dealing with competing priorities and team conflicts under pressure. I believe that a great product manager has the brain of an engineer, the heart of a designer and the speech of a diplomat. As a product enthusiast, I take the initiative to achieve great outcomes that exceed expectations at an unusual level of autonomy.  

My early professional experience was at Goldman Sachs in Operations and at Bridgewater Associates in HR. From there, I was trained as a coach at NYU and became a certified coach through the International Coach Federation. After this, I worked in HR Research at Aon Hewitt and attained my Technology MBA at NYU Stern. Throughout my career, I have helped hundreds of professionals with career exploration and for the past ~2 years I’ve been building my company, WOKEN, which is an online career exploration platform to coach professionals through the process of figuring out their ideal job and career path. I am also a Professor of Entrepreneurship at Binghamton University and a Career Coach through the Flatiron School/WeWork.
